I had lots of cute dresses when I was little, but this is the only dress that Mom saved. Mom and Dad thought for sure I was their last child! (Oh, how wrong they were!) This dress is special because my mom actually smocked it! So it is close to 13 years old now! AnnaClaire wore it to Church today and she looked SO cute. I went back and found a picture of me wearing it when I was her age. The picture of me is my 3 year old preschool picture. It's so fun to see AnnaClaire, at almost 3, wearing the same dress that I wore when I was 3! And we both, of course, have big red bows! :)

OK, that made me tear up. That is PRECIOUS! My sister smocked lots of clothes for my boys and her two children, so your Mom must be one patient lady! I would NOT have the patience to smock a dress! Won't it be fun when you get to show the Kate wearing it and you'll have two previous pics?! It won't be long now to wait for Kate!!!
