Happy Easter! He is Risen!

I pray that on this Easter you will realize that it's not a day about the pretty dresses, candy, presents, bunnies, and family meals... but that you will see and accept the true gift, the ultimate gift, that Jesus Christ offers to us. Because the reason we celebrate Easter isn't because of the things I mentioned... it's not at all. It's about Jesus suffering and dying on the cross all those years ago for OUR sins. It's about Him not staying dead, but rising and ultimately living in Heaven and offering Himself to anyone who asks. So happy Easter! May you remember the reason we celebrate this day and thank Him for what He selflessly did for us sinful people.

He is Risen!

I leave you with two stanzas from a song that we sang at Church today...

Dress us up in the blood of a son
Who opened up his veins so that we would overcome
Hell and the grave in the power of his love
After three dark days he showed us how it's done
And he still does

Cause the love of God is stronger
The love of God is stronger
The love of God is stronger
Than the power of death

Just want to say how much I am enjoying your blog and have been following your story from last September. Anna Claire and Kate are two special little girls and so pretty. I just love their outfits! someone in your home must sew!
We also have a new granddaughter from China (Lilah Grace Meaklim) she is 22 months old and adorable just like Kate and AC. Loved your vacation picks i'm afraid its not just summer weather in Ireland yet.
Happy Easter Monday to all and glad that "He is Risen" and that his blood has atoned for our sins.
May God richly bless you sweet family.
Greetings from County Armagh
