This afternoon, I came home and clicked on precious Kayleigh's blog, as I have done time after time. Yet, this time was different and I was brought to tears reading that Kayleigh went to her eternal home last night. I ask you to pray for this sweet family in this difficult time.
Also, sweet Maria Chapman would be turning 6 years old tomorrow. So I remind you of precious Maria because this family NEEDS our prayers, especially during this hard, hard month.
It doesn't make sense to me that these two precious girls are just two of MANY that have gone to their eternal home far too early. That is something that in my lifetime, I will never understand. I do know that God has used both of these girls' stories to change many lives and I pray that lives continue to change through the legacy that these young girls have left... and their parents' choice to live out the following song through their grief:
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

I was so sorry to read about your friends little girl this morning.
Emily.. your writing is way beyond your years. You have such insight for someone so young. And, you can tell from your writings that you are truly filled with the spirit!
I have been following Kaleigh too and cried for their loss. So many things in this life make no sense, but we have to have faith that all things have a purpose. It is all about love. We know both little girls were loved. Being the humans that we are, it just still doesn't make sense. My heart aches for both families. Enjoyed reading your entry. We are all so blessed!
