Today, our sweet Charlie turns FOUR in China! It was hard not being with him, but we were able to send him a cake and little care package and are really hoping for some pictures. Despite him not being with us, we did celebrate in honor of him... dinner at P*ei W*ei and a cookie cake. Someday, we will be able to show him that even though he wasn't home for it, his fourth birthday was his first having a family and that we love him so much, despite the fact that we've never even met him.
We love you so much sweet boy and hope you had a great birthday! SO wish you could've been home for it, because we are just missing you so much today!

Happy birthday sweet Charlie! Today is my nephew's 5th birthday and he too is across the world. Both of you are much loved by your families and well celebrated today!
