A Surprise Visit~

Look who knocked on our door this morning,
bringing donuts to some very surprised younger siblings!  It was too  quick of a visit, but we sure did enjoy it!  Drew is living and working/ training in Kansas City right now, and will be relocating to his permanent location in Omaha, in early 2013.  We sure do appreciate seeing him whenever we can.  AND a certain little someone sure did take to her biggest brother on this trip home. Drew's arms and lap were the spot where Ellie could be found most of the day today.   So sweet!  She certainly loves her "Dooo!" We loved your visit, Drew.  Even if it was too short!

And if you look closely, you can see some bandaids on Grace's knee.  She took quite a spill yesterday  off her ripstick.  She's got a banged up knee, and banged up elbow and a sore wrist.  Brave girl.

Hi Hi My name is Jenna
Your kids are beautiful princesses, handsome prince, cute blessings, special earthly angels, and precious gifts and miracles.
What a nice surprise visit the kids and you guys got, there big bro and your oldest son comming to visit. I can tell that Ellie loves her big bro doo, (Drew) Aww poor grace, I am glad she is ok, though it must have hurt. She is brave!
I was born with a rare life threatening disease, developmental delays, and 14 other medical conditions.

Here is a new poem I wrote, it’s called it takes courage:
It Takes courage to love
Like a dove
It takes courage to fight,
It takes courage to do what’s right
It takes courage to stay strong,
When things go wrong
It takes courage to write a song
It takes courage to live
It takes courage to give
It takes courage to fight this beast
It takes courage to be brave
It takes courage to smile and wave
It takes courage to keep positive
Keep on fighting!
It takes courage to win!

What a treat for their big brother to visit and the surprise makes it extra special! It's wonderful to see Ellie taking to all her siblings, even those she doesn't see nearly as often as you'd like.

So were you surprised too or did you know he was coming?

I can only imagine if you didn't expect him and then he was there with the doughnuts! :)))

So sweet that Ellie took to him so much! Our baby girl loves her big brothers too; she is quite spoiled I'm afraid b/c they are all spoiling her! (not that I or DH ever would LOL! ;)
