Woohoo!!! It's official! We're going to CHINA! :)

We leave at 6 AM on Thursday morning (6/10) and get home at 7:30 PM on the 4th of July (not our preference, but it is saving us $1300 to fly home then instead of Saturday... guess we'll know who our true friends are when we get to the airport! ;))

We fly from our city to Dulles
Dulles to Chicago
Chicago to Hong Kong

and home the opposite route!

I think we have found THE cheapest tickets on the internet, and they are still quite expensive compared to what we spent the last 2 trips. Dad has literally been searching every possible option since we got the "TA is coming" email on Tuesday! For those of you getting ready to travel, we paid $1383 for each of our flights and $1084 for one-way tickets for Charlie and Grace.

Still waiting on our itinerary... but we will get Grace on either 6/13 or 6/14 and Charlie on either 6/20 or 6/21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh. We are going to China. In ONE WEEK!!!!!!!! :) :) We have SO much to do. Not a single thing is packed!!

Oh and yeah... you really did read our travel dates right... 24 days in China!! :)

God is SO GOOD!

Oh how wonderful - 21 days in China sounds FUN!

We were in Nanchang, Jiangxi (right between Grace & Charlie's provinces) those same weeks in 2008 (and it was HOT, HOT, HOT!) and got home on the 3rd of July. Can't believe it's been two years already! Time sure does fly when you're having fun.

Can't wait to see you with Charlie & Grace!

woohoo! Our tickets cost $1800 and we thought we were getting a good deal!

ahh... yes... we already booked um! Now that's positive thinking!!! June 23rd- July 9th- you know there may be a chance where we overlap by a day or two- oh I would love to meet your wonderful family!! That would be an extra special blessing!
(we made our trip a little longer to give our agency 3 days option for CA's- yes we really want to go to CHina... now!)

Enjoy China! Now I just have to figure out how to see your blog while I am in China- I don't want to miss out on a thing!!

Your Mom is so so nice- tell her I'm doing just fine BUT keep praying!

I'm with Debbie, I think it's awesome to get their citizenship on the 4th of July. A perfect day! :) That is a long time in China, but what great memories you all will make together.

I am SO glad you said that about becoming citizens ON the 4th of July. Emily and I were bummed to be landing on that day, but now I rather like the idea. I hadn't really thought of that, so thank you for pointing it out!

Wish I could meet you at the airport when you get home - but we are leaving for vacation that morning! How cool that Grace and Charlie get to land in the USA on Independence Day!

I KNEW there was a good reason reason for why we were going to have to stay in GZ and extra day, and now I know what it is! We'll be able to meet up with you guys!!!!!!
