While Mom and Dad were off with Charlie, Grandma came in and watched all of the girls! They loved every moment of having Grandma here and absolutely wore her out! They adore her... thank you Grandma for coming!
Charlie continues to do well. Our routine is becoming a bit more normal, so that is good. There are times when he is in obvious pain, but his pain medicine turns that around quickly. He is doing really well with it all. Considering he's a 5 year old boy confined to a wheelchair, he is AMAZING.
The rest of us are hanging in there, too! We've had beautiful weather lately, so the spring clothes are out and we've been spending lots of time outside! LOVE IT!

Thank you, Emily!
I'm sure it's hard to see Charlie in pain, but I'm glad that the meds help quickly. I just can't imagine what it would be like to have my little guy confined in a wheelchair... I hope he's up and running before long. Sure can't wait to see pictures!
And Grandma time is priceless!
How's Mr. Charlie coming along?

Charlie is doing really, really well! Completely weaned from the pain meds in less than a week. He is SO patient sitting in his wheelchair and is not complaining at all. Such a good boy! These casts will come off the very end of April, but then there will be another set of casts. :( And then some leg braces for about 6 months. Then we just pray that his feet will stay in place and not regress.
Adorable pic of grandma and the girls!! Our Ava and Anna have the same outfits as AC and Kate!!Only we haven't been able to wear ours yet... bummer!
