My Cakers

Mom and Dad took the kiddos to the park on Sunday and there was a dad there with a really nice camera and he took some pictures of the kids and offered to email them to us. I LOVE these three of Kate. They capture her personality SO well (minus the fact that there's no bow... what is this?!) I just love this baby girl so much... hard to believe that it was two years ago this week that we left for China to meet her! She has come SUCH a long way!!!

I love you, precious baby girl!

A crazy week!

This past week was homecoming week at school, so we had dress up days, the big homecoming game on Friday, and the dance on Saturday! It was really fun but also crazy with all of the activities and working on stuff after school, so it's nice to be HOME! Anyway, here's some pictures from that...

And here's some that I took last weekend of the kiddos before Church. It was a little shadowy, so they aren't the best... but I think the cuteness of my subjects makes up for it :)

We're all doing well! I took my S*AT for the last time yesterday and am now just waiting to hear back from colleges! I ended up only applying to 3, so I'm excited to hear back!!!

I didn't see much of the kiddos because I was gone working on stuff for homecoming during the week, but it sounds like they've had a fun week, too! Mom and her friend took all of the kids to the apple farm last Friday, so I have a ton of pictures from that. They've been making apple pies and homemade applesauce since... delicious!

Anyway, enjoy these pictures of my cuties~

A fun night with my Annaboo

Last night, AnnaClaire and I went to get celebratory smoothies in honor of her loosing her first tooth. I let her pick where she wanted to go, and she didn't hesitate before saying that she wanted a "smoofie!"

I think it was everything it was cracked up to be :)

Of course, I had to get some pictures of her with her precious little gappy smile.

This sweet thing can pose! She was just working my camera with all of her poses, which she came up with completely on her own. Where does she learn this stuff??

Then I took her to Ta*rget to pick some things to buy with her tooth fairy money. She picked a kaleidoscope, a little tennis game, and a little microphone (just like her soccer coach has!) She was so excited to pull out her $5 and pay the cashier! (and no, the tooth fairy doesn't always bring $5... just for the first tooth!)

Oh baby girl, stopping growing up on me!

Please tell me how it's possible...

that my precious girl lost her first tooth last night.

Wasn't it just yesterday that this little princess was first placed in our arms? At 13 months old? With only  6 teeth?

How is it that we are now in the month of her fifth birthday?

And she is sporting a cute little gappy smile.

Oh, precious girl. You are simply growing up too fast for your sissy!

But as she tells me, "Sissy! It's just a part of life! You lost all of your teeth, too... it's just part of growing up!"

Oh sweet girl, how I love you so!

Mountains!

Here are some pictures that I promised from the mountains a couple of weeks ago! They all had so much fun and had a beautiful day for it! We can't wait to go back (and hopefully Sissy can join next time!)

And just because, here's a sweet story about these two...

Charlie and Kate are QUITE the pair. It is beyond adorable. She is the princess, who is always walking around in dress up clothes and anything girly. He is the tender hearted gentleman who adores playing babies with her. And doing anything with her, really. They are absolutely precious together.

On Sunday, Mom had just dressed Kate in her Church dress.

Charlie walked by and ran up to Kate saying, "You wook bu-ful, Kay!"

Kate says in the sweetest voice, "Thank you Charlie!"

And runs to Mom yelling, "Mommy, Charlie told me I was beautiful!"
